School Prospectus

May I offer you a very warm welcome to Westgate Primary School, a school in the heart of the beautiful and historic town of Warwick, serving its community.

In this prospectus we have endeavoured to give a comprehensive guide to our philosophy, ethos and curriculum for academic, social and personal development. We strongly believe in addressing the needs of the whole child, offering support, encouragement and challenge appropriate to each individual. We are an inclusive school, giving all children the opportunity to succeed, grow and excel in a nurturing, creative environment, where expectations of achievement and behaviour are high. We value each other, respect individuality and believe that good relationships, at all levels, are key to children’s progress and achievement.

At Westgate, we want to develop a love of learning that lasts a lifetime, to provide learning opportunities which stimulate children to continue to question, and search for answers, outside school, as well as in the classroom.
